Who we are

This website is the blog of OtrisMarket, a small independent studio that creates animated greeting cards, video invitations and motion stickers. It is run by Sole Proprietor / FOP Olha Trifonova from Ukraine.

For anything related to your personal data, write to otris308@gmail.com.

This policy covers this blog only. Our online shop and our YouTube channel are separate services with their own terms.

What we collect and why

Contact form. When you write to us we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use this only to answer you. Submissions are stored in the website database and forwarded to our email.

Comments. When you leave a comment we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string. The last two help detect spam.

Usage statistics. We count page views using Independent Analytics, a tool that runs entirely on our own server. It sets no cookies, loads no tracking scripts in your browser, and sends nothing to any third party. The figures are aggregated and are not used to identify individuals.

Newsletter. If you subscribe to new articles, we store your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. This happens only when you tick the consent box on the subscription form — we never add anyone automatically. The address is used for nothing except sending new articles from this blog, and every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link.

Cookies. The only cookies this site can set are optional ones for comments: if you leave a comment you may tick a box to save your name, email and website so you do not have to retype them next time. They last about a year and are set only if you tick that box. We use no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies at all — which is why there is no cookie banner on this site.

Third parties

Your data is never sold and never shared with advertisers. A limited number of services process data on our behalf:

  • Brevo — our newsletter provider, a French company with servers in the European Union. It stores subscribers’ email addresses on our behalf and sends the emails. It receives nothing about visitors who do not subscribe.
  • Fonts — all fonts used on this site are stored on our own server. Nothing is requested from Google, so no information about you reaches Google.
  • Antispam Bee — our spam filter runs entirely on our own server and sends nothing to third parties.
  • Hosting Ukraine — provides server infrastructure for this website and may process standard server access logs for security and performance purposes.

How long we keep your data

  • Contact form messages — up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Newsletter subscribers — kept until you unsubscribe, then removed.
  • Comments and their metadata — kept indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognised automatically. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
  • Comments marked as spam — deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • Statistics — aggregated, with no personal identification.

Legal basis

If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, we process your data under the GDPR on the following grounds: your consent when you send a message or leave a comment; and our legitimate interest in protecting the site from spam and understanding which articles are useful.

This site is operated from Ukraine, and processing also follows the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection”.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it. Write to otris308@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. There is no charge.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — your national data protection authority in the EU or the UK, or the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to the administration area is password-protected and limited to the site owner. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the software updated and review access regularly.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top always shows the most recent revision.
